To better serve the soccer community, the Simsbury Soccer Club has built a pavilion at Curtiss Park.Phase I consisted of building a 24ft by 70ft open air wood roof structure with crusted stone flooring on the south side of Curtiss fields “B” and “C”. This Pavilion is an ideal shelter for players and parents in stormy weather, or the hot sun of summer. The structure can also be utilized for team outings and special affairs.
Phase II plans are being developed and may include enclosing part of the pavilion for concessions and other uses.
The Simsbury Soccer Club provided the upfront dollars necessary to build phase I and to date we have received some generous contributions from both Corporate and Personal donations. But it is only a start!!! The "Buy-a-Brick" Campaign has been brought back by popular demand and is a great way to show your support for the Simsbury Soccer Club, leave a lasting legacy, and help fund Phase II of the pavilion.
