Click here to Volunteer as a U5 Coach. Parents are encouraged to help out and coach. Prior to the season there will be a coaching clinic to help parents become more comfortable on the field and understanding the skills being taught at this age group.
This 6-week program is supported by an age-appropriate, story-based curriculum that takes players on a different adventure every week with Dino and Deana (the male and female soccer balls). The Dinomites soccer ball has touch points to help children learn how to control and move the ball.
This program is a total of 6 weeks, the first session will provide players and families the chance to meet coaches and teammates. Each player new to the program will receive a uniform kit at the first session.

A dinosaur is the most recognizable animal to a child under the age of 5 (hence the success of Barney). Experts in child development and education have designed a curriculum to introduce young players to soccer with an emphasis on learning basic motor skills. Have your child join Dino and Deana on a memorable adventure that provides a positive and memorable first soccer experience for your whole family.
This program is supported by an age appropriate, story based curriculum which takes players on a different adventure every week with Dino and Deana (the male and female soccer balls). The Dinomites soccer ball has touch points to help children learn how to control and move the ball.
At this age, experts stress the important role of the parent in early childhood development, so this program has been designed to support active parent participation. This approach fosters a memorable experience for the whole family and encourages support for the volunteer coach. Professional coaches will train and support the volunteer coaches and involve parents by facilitating the Dinomites program with the activity curriculum and structure.
Online support materials such as activity videos, certificates, picture frames and more, help to engage your child and your family in this interactive program.
